First silver and gold commemorative coin 2011: The Netherlands and the Art of Painting

April 28, 2011 - On 30th May 2011, the Ministry of Finance will issue a new 5 and 10 Euro commemorative coin. The coin is being struck as a mark of honour to Dutch paintings and there will also be special issues for collectors.

Besides these new coins there is now available an extremely exclusive numbered Prestige set that, in addition to the Art of Painting 5 Euro circulation, 5 Euro silver and the 10 Euro gold in Proof quality, also contains the Van Gogh Silver Proof from 2003 and Rembrandt Silver Proof from 2006. Included with the set are a comprehensive Certificate of Authenticity and gilded Master of the Mint plate.
