December 1, 2011 – The temporary exhibition “Myth and Coinage” presented concurrently at the National Archaeological Museum and the Numismatic Museum since April 15, 2011 is extended until Tuesday, January 3, 2012.

The exhibition, which presents 482 ancient coins from the Numismatic Museum and Alpha Bank Collections, accompanied by 93 vases, sculptures and examples of metalworking from the Collections of the National Archaeological Museum, which promote the Greek Mythology, had been scheduled to run until Sunday, November 27, 2011. The extension of the exhibition was decided due to its particular interest and the great visitor turnout.
