The Perth Mint announces the highly anticipated 2012 Discover Australia Gold Proof Coin Series. With five new animal designs for 2012 the coins consist of: the Red Kangaroo, Whale Shark, Green and Gold Bell Frog, Goanna and Kookaburra. Each of these designs is available as a 1/2oz, 1/10oz and 1/25oz gold coin, with each size available individually or as a five-coin set.

ANZAC Day is a day on which we honour all those who gave their lives in the service of their country. This year’s tribute salutes the nurses who have served, and continue to serve, in the Australian Defence Force.
