Numismatic Training Day in West Midlands

March 31, 2106 – On Wednesday the 20th of April 2016 the Money and Medals Network and the University of Warwick will be holding a numismatic training day for people working and volunteering in West Midlands museums and other public institutions. The day will be hosted by the Department of Classics and Ancient History on the Warwick University campus from 10.00 until 16.00 and will be free to attend.

The content of the day will focus on both curatorial and engagement subjects.

The Money and Medals Network is an Arts Council England co-funded project which exists to build and develop relationships between UK museums and public institutions with numismatic collections to provide support in a climate of declining specialist expertise. Museums of all sizes with numismatic collections of all types are welcome to participate, and participation is free.
