August 28, 2014 – The Professional Numismatists Guild will conduct a coin and paper money show in the Times Squares area of New York City, October 9-11, 2014. The PNG New York Invitational will be open to the public at the Millennium Broadway Hotel, 145 West 44h Street, just half a block East of Broadway.

Major auctions will be conducted in conjunction with the show by both Heritage Auctions and Stack’s Bowers Galleries.
The three-day show is being produced by the same experienced team that has successfully created PNG Days and other collectibles shows across the country for over two decades.

“This will be the first major rare coin and paper money show with PNG backing in mid-town Manhattan in nearly 20 years,” said PNG Executive Director Robert Brueggeman. “We’re excited about the opportunities for collectors and dealers to conveniently get together for a premier show in the heart of the Broadway Theater District with everything it has to offer for visitors as well as New York area residents.”

More than 100 dealers are expected to have tables at the show. A limited number of tables are still available, and dealers do not have to be PNG members to obtain a table at the show.
Public registration will be on the 7th floor of the hotel. Admission will be $10 at the door; however, $5 admission coupons are available online on the website of PNG and admission is free with an invitation from participating PNG member-dealers.

The PNG has obtained special discount hotel rates at the Millennium Broadway that are more than $100 per night lower than currently available even on hotel discount websites for that busy period. A special discount rate of $329 per night is available by calling the Millennium Broadway Hotel, (212) 768-4400, and requesting “the PNG convention rate” at the time of booking.

Public hours will be Thursday, October 9, from 10 am to 6 pm; Friday, October 10, from 9 am to 6 pm; and on Saturday, October 11, from 9 am to 5 pm.
