November 13, 2012 – As Nick Bowkett of the Royal Mint informs his blog readers, the Royal Mint is changing the specification of bullion products. Only the Gold Sovereign will stay at 22 carat gold, the 2013 Silver Britannia and Gold Britannia will be struck from 0.999 silver and 0.999 gold respectively.
