Suspect Selling Counterfeit Coins

April 11, 2013 – Dealers should be on the look out for a subject selling counterfeit coins. The suspect is selling counterfeit modern coins in original packaging, including capsules and COA’s according to an Oklahoma dealer.
The following coins and bars were offered for sale:
1. Proof Silver Eagles with correct box, capsule and COA. Some of the coins are smaller and rattle in caps. In addition the date is smaller and coin has too much fine detail.
2. Argot Heraeus 10gr gold bars sealed in plastic. Does not weigh right and the backs are textured not smooth.
3. Pan America Silver 1oz bars in hard plastic holders. Look real but do not weigh right.
3. Also has Engelhard bars and rounds (Prospector), proof gold eagles all sizes, 1/10oz gold eagles and half pound silver eagles.

The counterfeit items have been offered to several dealers in Oklahoma and Kansas. Suspect Information:
