Termite alarm in the bank vault

April 28, 2011 – Termites have eaten through 10 million rupees – about 222.000 $ – worth of bank notes at the Indian town of Barabanki. According to the journal Daily News & Analysis bank clerks had informed earlier about the termite problem. In the past, documents and furniture had been destroyed by termites.
