Bhutan Lunar Series
The Happiest Lunar Coin series, issued by the Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan features ultra-high relief minting of the zodiac animals on the obverse, and introduces scenic attractions from the mystical Kingdom of Bhutan, also known as one of the happiest countries and the Last Shangri-La of the world.

Taking central focus on the coin obverse is the almanac animal, minted in ultra-high relief which is 4 times higher than usual relief – presenting a 3-dimensional and prominent depiction of the rooster. This series is available in ¼ oz 999.9 Fine Gold, 1oz and 5oz 999 Pure Silver.
A series which seeks to introduce the beauty of Bhutan to the world through coins, the reverse of each coin issue features different scenic attractions of this majestic Kingdom in full colour application. Featured on the reverse of the Bhutan Rooster Coin is the National Memorial Chorten, the most visible religious structure in Thimphu, Bhutan.
The silver coins are both minted in ultra-high relief. The 5oz coin has a limited worldwide mintage of 1,000 pieces.
Macau Lunar Series
Issued by the Monetary Authority of Macau, the Macau Lunar Commemorative Coins series is an award-winning series. The 2016 Macau Lunar Monkey issue has won yet another award for the series at the 29th Mint Directors’ Conference clinching the “Most Beautiful Commemorative Gold Coin” award in May 2016.

The Macau Lunar Rooster coins, the tenth issue of the series, feature a magnificent outline of a rooster accompanied by blooms of rosy ‘Celosia cristata’ also commonly known as the cockscomb. The pairing of the cockscomb with the rooster symbolizes career progression. The vivid colours contrasts the rooster’s and accentuates the shiny mirror-polished finishing on the coin.
The reverse features the St. Dominic’s Church which is located within the Historic Centre of Macau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The reverse employs precision minting with an added human touch as well. The fine details are intricately carved, right down to detailing such as the windows and wall patterns, accentuated with varying relief height and sandblast effects to create three-dimensional depth of this majestic iconic site.
The series comes in three different coin types, 1/4oz 999.9 Fine Gold, 1oz and 5oz 999 Fine Silver. Both silver editions are highly popular amongst enthusiasts locally and internationally.
