The Mark Blackburn Memorial Fund
September 13, 2012 – To celebrate Mark Blackburn’s many contributions to numismatics the Fitzwilliam Museum is launching a fund in his memory. The purpose of the fund will be to promote research on coins, monetary history and the archaeology of Western Medieval Europe and to establish a biennial Mark Blackburn Lecture. The Fitzwilliam invites his friends, colleagues and all who admired Mark’s achievements to consider contributing. If you would like to discuss your gift please contact Sue Rhodes, Development Office via email or 01223 332939.
