Austrian Mint Issuing Programme 2014

December 5, 2013 – The Austrian Mint has announced its issuing programme 2014 as scheduled so far. Popular series like Klimt and his Women or the new Prehistoric Life are continued. There will also be the famous niobium coins.

  • 22.01.2014: 25 euro silver niobium coin Evolution. 65,000 SU. Niobium, Silver Ag 900. 34 mm, Fine weight 9 g.
  • 19.02.2014: 50 euro gold coin Judith II. (Klimt and his Women). 30,000 proof. Gold Au 986. 22 mm, Fine weight 10 g.
  • 19.03.2014: 20 euro silver coin Cretaceous – Life on the Ground. (Prehistoric Life: Back from the Dead). 50,000 proof. Silver Ag 90. 34 mm, Fine weight 18 g.

The 2014 Vienna Philharmonic bullion coin, as ever, has no maximum mintage and comes in four sizes in fine gold (1 oz, 1/2oz, 1/4 oz and 1/10 oz) and one size in fine silver (1 oz). Issues additional to the Austrian Mint issuing programme 2014 include restrikes (Ducats, Crowns, Gulden), Good Delivery fine gold bars and Maria Theresa Talers.
