Bulgaria to replace banknote with coin?

[bsa_pro_ad_space id=4]

January 21, 2014 – Reportedly the 2 Leva banknote may be substituted by a new coin as happened in 2002 with a 1 Lev banknote (1 Lev = 0.5 Euro). The last series of 2 Leva banknotes was issued in 2005 but accordingly to media reports its production generates a loss probably due to a short circulation lifetime or poor material quality.
