NGC Announces Enhanced, German Language Census

March 17, 2016 – Optimized for all devices including smartphones and tablets, the new NGC Census is now available in German and features population data for virtually all NGC-certified coins, including NGC Details-graded coins.

NGC Census optimized for mobile devices

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation® (NGC®) has launched a new and dramatically improved NGC Census, which has now been translated into German. Utilizing the latest technologies, the enhanced NGC Census is faster and easier to use than ever before and now resizes seamlessly across all devices including smartphones and tablets. It is available for free in German on NGCcoin.de.

Population data for NGC graded coins

The NGC Census, which displays population data of NGC-certified coins by type and grade, is a popular tool for researching the rarity of coins. In a significant upgrade, the new NGC Census now displays population data for NGC Details-graded coins, creating increased marketplace opportunities for these coins.

Additional support for European clients

The release of a German NGC Census comes just over two years after NGC opened a branch office in Munich, Germany. This office provides an efficient and secure means for collectors and dealers throughout Europe to submit to NGC and its affiliates, NCS and PMG. As an additional means of support for collectors and dealers in Europe NGC has worked to develop more online resources in various languages, such as the new German NGC Census.

NGC Census in Chinese

NGC has also released a Chinese NGC Census on its NGCcoin.cn website as well as a Chinese and English NGC Census on its NGCcoin.hk. NGC has offices in both Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Expansion of services in Europe

“Collectors and dealers in Europe increasingly understand the benefits of NGC certification and it is essential that we provide them with the best tools to support their researching, buying and selling,” says Richard J. Stein, NGC Director of European Operations. “The German NGC Census is an important step forward as we work to expand and enhance our services in Europe.”

A brief tutorial, which will load when these resources are first accessed, highlights some of the new features of the NGC Census. To learn more and try this enhanced tool, visit NGCcoin.de/Census.
