Stephen Album’s New Fixed Price List

Stephen Album Rare Coins of Santa Rosa California has released its 285th fixed-price catalog. Included in the catalog are over 1,900 individual items including: 145 Ancient Coins, 664 Islamic Coins, 447 General World Coins, 14 Chinese Coins and 653 Indian Coins.

Some of the groups of items worth noting in the sale are a nice selection of silver drachma of the Sasanian Empire, an interesting selection of coins and medals from 19th century France, as well as a wide variety of coins from the Princely States of India. The Stephen Album catalogs are often widely varied with a mixture of well-known items as well as items from more obscure locations that are not commonly offered on the market.
 
The firm’s manager Mike Barry is quoted as saying that “Many of the items on this catalog are simply nice coins in collectible grade, with prices ranging anywhere from $8 to $300”.
